Facility Rental

Lafayette Theater is a 400+ seat fully equipped performing arts space. In addition, there are smaller locations at the venue that may be available as reception spaces and meeting rooms. Rental includes the auditorium, basic lighting, basic curtains and basic sound. Additional production personnel and equipment may be required at an additional charge depending on the technical requirements of the performance.

The Theatre is available for rental based on space availability. Rental rates are listed below and may be revised based on, technical requirements, type of performance, as well as other factors.  The rate does not include any promotional or advertising support.

Main Stage

The Lafayette Theater auditorium offers a unique environment for your special event.
This historic auditorium dates back to 1928 when it opened as a public school.
In 2022 the building was acquired and renovated, and the beauty of the auditorium space was preserved to host theater, choral and other special events in the community. 

The Mainstage rental includes:
• Accommodations for 400+ guests in the auditorium and 
•The main stage measures 30 feet across the proscenium and is 24 feet deep to the final traveler and the apron is 10 feet deep to the front of the proscenium

• lighting and sound capability

Rates start at $200/day, however we find that, dependent on a number of variables, the total cost of using the theatre may be more for a single day, depending on technical and crew requirements.

Lobby Gallery

The Lobby Gallery offers the opportunity for artists, photographers or sculptors to display and/or sell their works during a special event, during the run of the theater season, or for a single performance or other event.   

Rates are based upon the time and length of a rental, technical requirements, as well as several other factors. 

Conference Room

If you need a smaller space to host a meeting or get together our conference room may be just what you are looking for.

All rental organizations are also required to provide proof of liability insurance naming Seneca Community Players as a co-insured.

All rentals are subject to a $250 refundable security deposit and a cleaning fee of $75/day or $25/hour up to 4 hours.
