Auditions for Merry Christmas George Bailey! for CAST and Street Characters

Come play with us and be part of our annual tradition. Auditions for the cast of Merry Christmas, George Bailey! as well as the street characters that will perform on the streets of Bedford Falls during the It’s a Wonderful Life Festival will be held on November 2nd and 3rd at 7pm at 202 West Main Street, Waterloo. Also known as Main Street Elementary School or the Lafayette Theatre.
Performance dates are December 7-10 in Seneca Falls, and December 15-16 in Waterloo. Actors will read preselected scenes from the script provided.

Merry Christmas, George Bailey! is the live re-creation of the 1947 Lux Radio Broadcast of It’s a Wonderful Life starring Jimmy Stewart, Donna Reed, and Victor Moore. Actors may be asked to perform multiple voices, Foley artists needed as well to provide the live sound effects. Roles available for adults, children and teenagers.
Street Characters also are needed to populate the streets of Bedford Falls during the It’s a Wonderful Life Festival Dec 7-10. Actors will be on the streets Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and will participate in the parade. Actors will be paid. Seeking George Bailey, Mary Bailey, Zuzu, Bert the Cop, Uncle Billy, Mr. Potter, Violet and Clarence.
