SENECA COMMUNITY PLAYERS TO AUCTION OFF ROLES
FOR ………WILLY WONKA!
Come join the Seneca Community Players as they host a new and exciting event! On May 13th, 2016, they will auction off all the roles for their upcoming musical production of “Willy Wonka” scheduled to go up July 15-17th. The highest bidders win the roles!
SCP is looking for adults of all ages and children 5th grade and up. Depending on your role, there will be 2 months to learn lines, blocking, singing & dancing. There are sets to build, props and costumes to find, and make-up to apply. Think of this as a theatre bootcamp and the opportunity to learn what it takes to put on a production.
Those hoping to win a role can boost their bidding power by finding sponsors to pledge their support. All money raised will support SCP’s mission to foster, arouse, and help broaden the interest, availability, and appreciation of the theatre arts in Seneca and the surrounding counties. All contributions of auction items will be greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. Sponsor forms will be available here, April 13th at www.senecacommunityplayers.org or WomanMade Products – 91 Fall St. Seneca Falls.
In addition to the Willy Wonka roles being auctioned, there will be wonderful items donated by local businesses, organizations, and individuals available through live and silent auction. The auctioneer for this event will be Ms. Carol Ritter-Wright – a veteran of the SCP stage. It should prove to be an exciting evening! To learn more about how you can donate an item for the auction or questions about this “fun”-raising evening, please contact event coordinator, Susie Cornett, at 315-967-3SCP or email firstname.lastname@example.org
