What The Butler Saw

What the Butler Saw
By Joe Orton

Synopsis:
The Prentices are an unusual couple. Dr. Prentice runs his own exclusive psychiatric hospital and believes that the best way to interview a woman is to seduce her. Geraldine, his prospective new secretary, does her best to comply. Meanwhile, Mrs. Prentice has been seduced by a bellhop at a fancy hotel. Or did she seduce him? She brings him along with her to her husband’s hospital, just in time for a visit from the state inspector. Even a loopy policeman finds himself thrown into the madness. As the day progresses, chaos runs rampant as people disappear, shocking new discoveries are made and identities are mistaken.
